Andrea Elibero - Virtual Assistant

In Pursuit of Freedom

It was 2018. I was living a life I worked really hard for. I was in school for 11 years AFTER graduating high school. I worked in clinical research - career goal achieved. Or so I thought. One day it hit me that this will be my life for the next 30 years. I will work at my desk every day from 9 to 5. I will have two days to get my chores done and get in a fun activity or two. I will travel for 2 weeks a year. Umm, what?

While I was busy following the dreams I was told to have, I forgot about the ones I actually had.

Until then, I didn’t consider that there were alternative paths that would allow me to live the lifestyle that I craved deep in my soul because I was so focused on being successful in the path I thought I was supposed to be on.

What I really wanted was to help people while working on my own terms. I wanted to work while traveling and during random hours if I desired. I wanted to cuddle my dogs while working on my couch. I wanted to have the freedom to decide how to structure my life in a way that fulfilled me.

Okay - so I now knew what lifestyle I wanted, but could I make money this way? I listened to SO MANY PODCASTS. I googled ALL THE THINGS. Many a rabbit hole was fallen into.

Then I learned about being a virtual assistant (VA) where I could work from my laptop supporting entrepreneurs in their businesses. Sign me up! I learned how to do all sorts of things, from managing social media to email marketing, to basic web design so I could support soulpreneurs in their businesses.

I quit my 9-5 after 6 months and made more money in my first month working in my VA business than I did at my pretty decently paying “normal” job. I grew into a boutique VA agency, bringing on a team. 6 months later, I became a certified online business manager (I’m like the Chief Operating Officer for heart-centered online businesses). Now, in addition to serving my OBM clients, I also mentor high vibe VAs! I provide the guidance that I wish I had when I started my journey.

I want you to know that it is possible. You don’t have to feel stuck if you’re not fulfilled living a traditional lifestyle. Instead of listening to all the podcasts and google all the things, you can ask me! I would love nothing more than to help you in your quest for freedom.

P.S. I love sprinkling my tips all over the interwebs. Let’s be internet friends so you never miss out! I also have a present for my high vibe virtual assistants starting out: a roadmap to build your business.
